Grantham Growth Point Project Update (Aug 09)
ROUNDABOUT TRANSFORMATIONS CONTINUE ACROSS THE TOWN - Two more Roundabouts to be made-over.
Following the success of the makeover of the Barrowby Road roundabout, Harlaxton Road roundabout is the next gateway to be improved.
Work began on Monday 3 August by local company Green-ability who are also the sponsors of this roundabout. The transformation will be complete by Thursday 6 August.
The project has been led by SKDC, LCC and the Grantham Business Club Project Pretty team. The next roundabout to be given a makeover will the one on Occupation Lane which has been kindly sponsored by Downtown Superstore and Garden centre. The renovation to this roundabout will take place between 17 August to 21 August.
The newly designed roundabouts will create welcoming gateways for visitors to the town and a more attractive feature for the residents.
