quoteThe recognition of Grantham for new growth point status will enable us to work in partnership with Government to unlock the full potential of the town.

Grantham Growth Status

Grantham was awarded Growth Point Status in 2007 following a successful bid for funding from South Kesteven District Council and Lincolnshire County Council. The application for funding was made to the Department of Communities and Local Government which subsequently awarded growth funding of £7 million.

Grantham's application set out a clear strategy for the town's growth and development over the next 10 years and beyond, and also identified areas where funding support from CLG was sought in order to deliver the town's ambitions.
